I didn't buy it new and information technology is a store built trailer. I never registered considering I only used in the community that I live in (private Roads). I now have a need for it out on the public roads and demand to get it registered/titled. I had the axles looked at by a store and they said they are 7000 # axles. it has brakes and the emergency brake abroad kit. My question is how practise I get about getting this thing registered? I accept talked to the Tax Assessor office and they said I demand to find the vin number. I have been all over this thing and can't find 1! Any help out at that place?I too cant find the bill auction or the comtact info from the guy I bought information technology from.

Yous can then put your vin# on the trailer and take that to the tax assessor. If the trailer is a few years old and has odviously been used and you accept no proof of purchase and then you might accept a hard time convincing the dps information technology is non stolen. That is why y'all now take to get a homemade trailer inspected. Information technology was just too piece of cake to steal a trailer, throw the license plate abroad, become to the tax assessor, and register a "homemade" trailer. As far a bill of sale goes you could just tell them that you made it. If y'all were to get pulled over I practise not know if a trooper going to expect at the dual axles and then the weight on the registration card. I know they have cracking washed on hunters pulling trailers tagged farm use.

I take four trailers, ii boat, a utility and a machine hauler. NONE take VIN numbers. Pay real shut attention. NO VIN NUMBERS! I have the renewal for my utility trailer in front end of me at present. It was bought from a dealer and gauge what....IT HAS NO VIN! On the renewal it has a space for VIN. Guess what! Information technology is blank! This item trailer was bought in Houston and registered in Gonzales County with but a receipt. My new boat trailer was bought in Tennessee. Estimate what! It has no VIN. It was registered in Gonzales County with only a receipt. Information technology too is bare where it says VEH. Identification No.So, I guess you are maxim the Gonzales Tax/Assessor is stupid for registering them. My car hauler has a serial number. But again, no VIN. The serial number is nowhere on the liscense receipt either. It was registered last month. And so how did I register them? I'll make it easy on you...I took the receipts to the County Tax/Assessor's office and told them I needed plates. And $38.60 afterwards I had plates.
