  • Enrolling New Students

    Marietta City Schools uses Registration Gateway, an online student registration organisation. THis allows guardians to register students on any device wth an internet connection. Simply visit Registration Gateway and upload your documents all from the condolement of your home!

    Please visit our Emily Lembeck Early Learning Eye (ELC) if y'all are interested in our Pre-Kindergarten (Pre-K) programme. Registration for the Early Learning Middle for 2022-2023 will open Feb 1, 2022 and close March 31, 2022. Families will be notified of acceptance by April 1, 2022.   • MCS Selection Academies Plan

    The Marietta City Schools Choice Program allows students to attend a different elementary school than the one for which they are zoned. This does not include the Marietta Center for Avant-garde Academics (MCAA), which is a STEAM magnet school.   • MCS Tuition Programme

    The Marietta City Schools Tuition Program allows students who do not live in the Marietta City Schoolhouse district to attend an MCS school by paying tuition. Out-of-district students interested in applying to the Marietta Center for Advanced Academics STEAM Magnet Program should visit MCAA Awarding Procedures for more information.

    Current tuition toll is $150 per month, per pupil.

    The following criteria must be met for consideration:

    • Above boilerplate grades and standardized test scores, history of proficient behavior, good attendance, and timely payment of past tuition fees.
    • Student can be accommodated by current instructional program services which will meet the educational, concrete and emotional needs of the student without overcrowding classrooms.
    • Marietta Metropolis Schools must exist able to accommodate the applicant without placing undue financial brunt on the school organization.
    • The educatee must provide Marietta Urban center Schools the following documents in acceptable class before enrollment tin exist considered:
      • The Transcript (report bill of fare and standardized test scores) from the student's former school.
      • Bailiwick records from student's former school as required by the laws of the State of Georgia.
      • Attendance Tape from student's former school.
    • Students are subject to break, dismissal or expulsion in accordance with all Marietta Metropolis Schools' policies or regulations and, upon any such dismissal or expulsion, all obligations of Marietta City Schools shall exist aught and void.

  • Employee Kid Programs

    Employees of the Marietta City School District may elect to have their child(ren) attend Marietta City Schools. There are two Employee Child Programs: Non-Work Site and Work Site.

        2. Adoptive parent - Official adoption decree
        3. Guardian - Official guardianship decree.
          If the person enrolling a student is not the legal guardian, they must complete a non-parental affidavit. Marietta City Schools will provisionally enroll a student for a menstruation of non more than 30 days so the person tin can file an official guardianship application with the Probate Court. At the end of the 30 days if the official guardianship awarding has non been filed, the educatee shall be withdrawn. In one case a guardianship application has been filed, the person enrolling a student has upward to 90 days from the date of enrollment to complete the guardianship process. Extensions across ninety days must be approved by the superintendent or his/her designee.
        4. Foster parent - Official foster parent letter.
      3. Hearing, Dental, Vision and Nutrition Screening Document equally required by Georgia Law twenty-2-770 (Georgia Class 3300) for all kindergarten and new starting time grade students, all students new to Georgia and any kid enrolling from a private schoolhouse dated inside 12 months prior to the twenty-four hour period of enrollment. Withal, if a student is enrolling from another Georgia public school, a completed 3300 Form will be accepted by any Commune schoolhouse.
      4. Document of Immunization as required past Georgia Law xx-2-771:
        • Georgia Form 3231 for all kindergarten and 6th course students, all students new to Georgia and students coming from whatsoever private schoolhouse must have the form signed past a licensed wellness-intendance provider or the canton health department.     Marietta City Schools besides allows students in grades Thou-12, who reside outside the district, to attend our school system. To qualify, interested parents must consummate both a Not-Resident Pupil Enrollment Application and an MCS Enrollment Understanding and be approved.     The grades 3-5 magnet program at Marietta Center for Advanced Academics (MCAA) offers students a engineering-driven curriculum that emphasizes scientific discipline, applied science, engineering science and mathematics (STEM). Non-residents who meet admissions/eligibility criteria may apply to the magnet programme at MCAA and pay tuition (same tuition schedule equally all non-resident students).
