RE: Combining Regional Schoolhouse District Budget Referendums With May Municipal El ections

Y'all want us to identify the statutory changes required to authorize towns to hold the plebiscite required to approve a regional school district budget on the same day at the same time as they concur the May election for municipal officers. Y'all also want us to discuss whatsoever bug involved in making such changes.

SUMMARY

5 towns in Connecticut hold municipal elections in May and vote on their regional school district budgets at the same time of the year.
